Vancouver, B.C. — British Columbia’s busiest independent production company, Insight Film Studios is set to start shooting two new productions this month. From the story of a woman living a secret life from her family and friends to the tale of the wanderings of the hero Odysseus after the Trojan War, August is shaping up to be an exciting month at Insight.

To the average bystander, Lynn Bartlett appears to have it all.  Friends who support her, a husband who is helping her find the house of their dreams and a successful career.  But underneath the veneer of contentment are many twists and turns and as she and her friends share a glass of wine (or three) at many meetings of the “Anne Boleyn Society”, she reveals the tumultuous reality of “secret lives of second wives”.

Directed by George Mendeluk and written by Kelly Prior (A Stranger's Heart) this movie stars Canadian actress Andrea Roth from the hit series Rescue Me and Golden Globe nominated Brian McNamara from the series Army Wives.  Temptation is produced by Kirk Shaw and is shooting through August for Lifetime Television.

Based on Homer's epic from Greek mythology, Odysseus tells the tale of Odysseus, The Warrior King who has been away from Ithaca for twenty years. The first ten he spent fighting the Trojan War; the last ten he spent fighting to get home. Among his adventures is the tale Homer felt was too horrific to tell; the missing book of The Odyssey known as The Isle Of The Mists.

The film stars Arnold Vosloo (The Mummy) as Odysseus, Randal Edwards (The Best Years) as Homer, and J.R. Bourne (Everything's Gone Green.) as Perimedes Terry Ingram is slated to direct this adventure with Kirk Shaw, Richard and Tavin Martin Titus and Tim Cox producing.  Odysseus will air on the Sci-Fi channel this winter.
