Vancouver B.C. - Insight Film Studios announced today, a four-picture deal with Grindstone Entertainment Group, that includes all distribution rights worldwide (excluding the US) featuring for the first time the top UFC fighters together in their feature length film debut. The announcement was made by Tim Brown, President, Insight Film Releasing. “We’re extremely excited to work with Grindstone and represent the most electrifying fighters in the world”.

The first picture under the agreement is “Death Warrior” which goes into principal photography on December 10, 2008 showcasing the world’s greatest Mixed Martial Arts talent all together in a scripted format. The film will star Georges “Rush” St. Pierre, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Anderson “The Spider” Silva, and Keith “The Dean of Mean” Jardine. Kirk Shaw (Insight Film Studios) will Produce and Barry Brooker and Stan Wertlieb (Grindstone Entertainment Group) will Executive Produce, with Insight Film Releasing handling the Worldwide Distribution. Lionsgate Home Entertainment will be distributing the films domestically on DVD beginning in Spring 2009.

The agreement also includes: “King of the Cage” starring Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, B.J. “The Prodigy” Penn, and Heath “The Texas Crazy Horse” Herring as well as the title “Devil Dogs”, starring Georges “Rush” St. Pierre, Roger “El Matador” Huerta, Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira and “Yakuza” starring Anderson “The Spider” Silva, Keith “The Dean of Mean” Jardine, Lyoto Machida, and Heath “The Texas Crazy Horse” Herring. The films will also be Executive Produced by and star Hector Echavarria. The deal was negotiated by Barry Brooker, President, Grindstone Entertainment Group and Tim Brown, President of Insight Film Releasing.

Insight unveiled the movies at AFM, the international market that takes place in Santa Monica, California from November 5-12, where the titles were available to worldwide buyers.
